Driven by a quiet pride in his craft and a deep devotion to this community, Lucas pours his heart into every project, treating your family’s haven with the unmatched care it deserves.

The Beginning
Lucas started Lawns by Lucas at the ripe young age of 14. Driven by a hunger to start making his own money and a love for cars, he did the only thing he knew in order to make some money. And that, was cutting grass.

Lucas spent his entire summer mowing the same 3 lawns and worked a part time job at a local golf course as well. It wasn't easy, but he loved every second of it.
​
What started as a summer side hustle quickly began to overtake young Lucas' mind and he was flooded with an entrepreneurial spirit.
Moving Up
Eager to get back to work, Lucas began his second year very strong. What was once 3 clients quickly grew into 20+ in a matter of weeks. It was an insane amount of business for a 15 year old to handle.

Unfortunately for Lucas, this story did not end well for him. Attempting to balance 7+ hours of school, track, client meetings and work was not feasible. Lucas ended up having to let go of all of his new clients that he had worked so hard for.
​
This loss hurt more than Lucas could have imagined. He decided that it would never happen again.
Something Serious
After experiencing such a rough 2022 season, Lucas decided it was time to make a decision: Quit it now or go all in.

Lucas decided to go all in.
​
He invested every single dollar he had into his business. From mowers, trailers, blowers, Lucas was giving this company his all.
​
This was also the year that Lucas discovered Jesus and gave his life to the Lord.
​
Coincidentally, this was also the year where Lucas experienced the most growth in his business. He was beyond blessed.
Staying Disciplined
Lucas continued to work hard day in and day out on his business. From mulch jobs to mowing 5 days a week, Lucas was always working.
​
This was also when Lucas began to hire on his first part-time employees. He ran a 3 man landscaping crew and started his second mowing crew as well.
​
Things were going well for him. Lucas loved his employees and his clients. The work he was performing at their homes didn't just feel like work to him. It was his passion.
​
Lucas took great pride in the work God had blessed him with and wanted to show God that he was worthy of being one of his good stewards. God saw, and he listened.
The Big Year
God always keeps his promises.
​
After praying for years to allow Lawns by Lucas to take off, 2025 was the year where it happened. Lucas and his crews were busy 7 days a week, working on large-scale projects that 14 year old Lucas could have only dreamed of.
​
Lucas was working harder than he had ever worked before. By putting himself into stressful situations, he was able to lead a crew of 10+ men to complete job after job. Lucas made sure that every client he dealt with was left satisfied and that each job was done to absolute perfection.
​
Lucas had poured his entire life into this business. He was beginning to see his dreams turning into a reality. From the professional truck and trailer to the men wearing shirts with his logo on it, Lucas could not believe he was in the position he was in.
​
Every day spent working was an absolute blessing. Lucas had truly discovered his passion.
2026 and Beyond
Moving forward, Lucas is ready to take Lawns by Lucas to an entirely new level.
​
Lucas has invested in multiple pieces of new equipment, ranging from trucks, trailers, mowers and power equipment to bring about an even higher level of quality than previously offered.
​
With this, Lucas will be running 3 mowing crews, two landscaping crews and a dedicated hardscaping crew with him at the lead of them all. His dedication to continuous improvement and a desire to serve his clients has allowed his success to skyrocket.
